Course Description

Learn how to analyze the biomechanics of canine movement on a structural level and recognize compensations due to muscular restrictions. At the end of the course, participants gain a fundamental understanding of the canine musculoskeletal system; detailed review of functional anatomy include muscle origins and insertions, innervation, vascular supply, and mechanical functions. The study examines the evolution of the canine locomotor system and its significance in an animal’s overall health.
