Dr. Erica Tramuta graduated from The George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs-Cum Laude; minors in biology and anthropology, in 1998. After graduation from The George Washington University, she then attended University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with her Veterinary Medical Doctoral degree in 2005 and in addition, received a Small Business Certificate from the Wharton School of Business. Dr. Tramuta also obtained a Graduate Certificate in Veterinary Homeland Security from Purdue University in 2010. Dr. Tramuta's professional interests involve emergency and critical care, dentistry, exotic & wildlife medicine, public health and behavior. Some of Dr. Tramuta's other interests include being a member of the National Veterinary Response Team and a member of the AVMA's Veterinary Medical Assistance Team. She is also a firefighter and was an emergency medical technician for over ten years.
